ICE abuse is empowering racists.

I have a Hispanic neighbor who has been a US citizen for decades. On more than one occasion she has had people demand to see her "papers". One of those was when she went to buy a car. She felt intimidated and left.

ICE must obey private businesses that demand they leave. They must have a court order.
