I really wish this would be the norm for the entirety of our leadership. Direct, plain speaking that doesn't get lost in argle-bargle and frames the issue the way we want it instead of working within Republican frames. Amy Klobuchar has worked for the people through major health issues and never stopped speaking up and out. Pete Buttigieg has been a presence on FOX news for years. Holding their feet to the fire. His knowledge and support goes without saying. All of these people face threats to their own safety and that of their families. That’s a start.
