If I were to pick my top five reasons it's vital that Democrats reclaim the House this fall, @robertgarcia.bsky.social becoming chair of the Oversight Committee would be probably three of them.

I can’t wait until Robert Garcia becomes the chair of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and has subpoena power.

This is huge:

Now, we have just learned that private investigators that used to work for Jeffrey Epstein have had in their possession, now for years, hard drives, likely video, address books, other documents that they took from Jeffrey Epstein's homes BEFORE they were searched.
We found this out because we interviewed, just recently, Jeffrey Epstein's former lawyer, Darren Indyke. And he revealed to us that private investigators actually had these hard drives and other information.
We also now know that this information was likely never shared with law enforcement. And we know
that these hard drives and other documents exist because we actually also found them. There's an actual archive sheet within the Epstein files that were released by the DOJ that actually lists everything that these private investigators may have had. And that document we also just discovered in the file.
We have sent letters to all three of these private investigators demanding that we have access to these hard drives. There could be critical information about what Jeffrey Epstein did, what he recorded, how he blackmailed people, all in these videos and files. So stay tuned.
