Applegrove: bombing power plants in Iran is a likely war crime as most potable water in Iran comes pumped up from aquafers, not desalination plants, and that takes electricity to pump it up.

The water source wouldn't seem to matter if taking out the power is tantamount to war crimes.
I'm not sure if it meets the definition or war crimes or not.
I see the case being made that it is such a crime.
But, the history of war suggests that every infrastructure attack would be a war crime.
Sure, the best way around that is to quit waging war, and problem solved. But, that doesn't seem realistic at this point in human development.
