The insane toddler laps up everything putin tells him to do. The billionaires who have the spines of the republican party in their pockets are fine with this. Depressions are like half off sales for the morbidly rich. They can buy up everything cheap.
So we have an insane person as president and he appoints insane people to head our military and every other agency.
Whether religious fanatics or power hungry, we now have a government that’s sole purpose is to make massive amounts of money for a very few. Screw the people and planet. The spineless republicans are willing to destroy everything because they think they will get a piece of the action. We are being turned into Russia.

I am not smart enough to come up with any answers other than voting in overwhelming numbers. I hear some say that won’t work. They are either bots , plants, or ignorant in my humble opinion. My concern is that I thought the overturning of Roe would bring out massive numbers of women voters. That did not happen. Will the overturning of our democracy bring out massive amounts of voters ? We on this platform are in a bubble. I worked with so many who couldn’t care less. As long as they have a big screen TV they are fine.Those are the people we need to reach.

to how the mechanics of a capitalistic society influence the moral compass of that same group.
When we only had three tv stations we pretty much would talk about the same shows. We had a commonality on so many matters.
Today our media is driven by the trump show. And, sadly, through different lenses.
Our dark side, hidden by contempt, as we worked to accept a validity of our hope for all mankind, has been exposed as a good by the same forces that made the trains run on time; promises.
We have become too big for our britches and we need to design a pair for our times.
