Trump's medical and mental status is rapidly deteriorating, Kegger is removing the top layer of military leaders. As horrible as DJT is, who has the authority to order the military to do things when he croaks?
Do military generals have mechanisms to refuse orders of a madman or to resist a coup attempt? I'd love to hear from military folks here.

Hegseth is trying to find the ones who are willing to cross that line. For whatever the longer term goal is.
