Haven't we had enough of reality tv people as politicians?

Spencer Pratt is currently 2nd of 14 in the running to become mayor of L.A. Now one of the Jersey Shore kids is thinking of running for governor. And what have we learned from electing reality TV hosts? Nothing.

I'd kind of like to see some experience maybe? Talk is pretty cheap. stopdiggin 15 hrs ago #2

I certainly do agree that being a public personality shouldn't make someone more electable NoRethugFriends 12 hrs ago #6
Ironically, these reality TV people bring a lot of non-reality to the political game. Intractable 14 hrs ago #3

And, lord - do we have an abundance of TALK ... From every corner and direction.

And further - thinking I'm kinda' going to reserve judgement on whether being a reality TV show personality - really says virtually nothing .. ? Do we feel the same way about former ICE agents, hedge fund managers, crypto coin promoters, conversion therapy practitioners .. ? Read their policy positions ?

And plenty of horrendous politicians are experienced.

what came before - carries no relevance or hint of what shall come after. A silly premise on its face. (in my opinion).

My own leanings are in the direction of - just become someone was a former sports star (to use a more innocuous example) - does not (or should not) lend any material qualification toward them being the next governor of my state. And I have to admit that I'm gravely disappointed in an electorate that is shallow enough to go for the patent medicine, shiny trinkets routine.
Lord! .. we can (and certainly need to) do better!

But - if it is your desire to elect more TV reality stars .... You are perfectly within your rights.
Peace.
