Bill Maher gets played by JD Vance on HBO's 'Real Time,' admits he may vote Republican in 2028

"If this is where the Democratic Party is going… this obsession with Israel, with the Jew-hating, with they don't believe in capitalism, no prisons, if this is where they're going, my vote is in play," Maher told Vance. "It's either going to be you or Rubio. Here's my dealbreaker for your side: Under Trump, you guys have two outcomes that an election can be, either we win or they cheated. That s**t has to stop. And that means the person who has to stop it will be you, or Marco. Can you tell me you will do that?"

Throughout their interview, Maher seemed outmatched, with Vance talking circles around him. And, for someone who spends every Friday night railing against the Trump administration, he treated its vice president with kid gloves.

Maher is Republican controlled opposition. Great at building straw men, but not as smart as he thinks he is.

He says what he thinks will get the most attention. Goodness, how awful is it that you can't match wits with the likes of J. D. Vance.

And I can come up with better "railings" against the Trump administration than I've ever heard from Maher.

6. I remember all those years Maher was a staunch anti-religion atheist...

Now granted, being Jewish is far more than religion, but still. His obsessive (false use imo) of Judaism to define his political beliefs, given he somehow CHOOSES to believe that Democrats (as opposed to Republicans) are anti-Judaism--well... I still recall his overwhelmingly obnoxious views on religion--all religion and the hypocrisy just bites.

I haven't watched Maher in two years and don't intend to do so again. Never liked blatant hypcrisy and exploitation and he has that in spades now.
