What do you think? Should our candidate in 2028 be explicite about all the Trump era abominations that......

......he/she will correct on day one one or should they campaign in in the usual sense, just speaking of better days, new jobs, new opportunities, etc. I think, go big or go home. The MAGA base by then will be wrong-footed completely trying to spin the last four years and failing miserably. Tell America that your plan is to fix everything ASAP and get us out of our collective nightmare.

But have at it (me), brickbats appreciated if not welcomed.

cease fire and open negotiations from greenlad, cuba, panama, and anywhere else he gets froggy before then.

freeze all assets of a list of his cronies and use civil forfeiture on all of it.

imploding the arch just as the new pres swears "i , Alexandria occasio cortez ..." on jan 20 would be a great start. make the fireworks loud and bright and the video slow motion.

a truth and reconciliation panel, unwinding the decades of propaganda and referring crimes vs humanity to the hague.

how about a "restore free trade and capitalism act" to dissolve all the sole source contracts and self dealing.

is a military coup of some kind necessary? the right wing militias are beyond the capabilities of any police force. a general or junta could finish these guys off in a decade or 2, by then we may be ready for democracy.

3. I really like the "truth and reconciliation commission" part. Puts our bullshit on the same plane as apartheid.

10. I really don't know how that aspect of his welcoming those white folks to America somehow escaped me. Jeez.

But as long as there are those who will prop up and vote for these atrocities, no minds will be changed

7. Increasingly, I don't think there's going to be much of a "correction" even if we were to hit a federal trifecta.

8. Assuming we take power, I'd prefer a lighter negative approach. I think people need a break from chaos and negativism

after he's gone. Not that we shouldn't bring him up as the dangerous clown who should have never been elected. Just ease up it.
