A MAGA faithful and prominent 2020 election denier claimed the intense heat oppressing the nation’s capital and disrupting America’s 250th celebrations was “geoengineered” by a person with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Kylie Jane Kremer, a right-wing activist who organized rallies for President Donald Trump before the January 6 riot, insisted “someone with an extreme case of [Trump Derangement Syndrome] geoengineered this weather in DC.”

“Same way they geoengineered Trump’s inauguration to be one of the coldest in U.S. history. People with [Trump Derangement Syndrome] hate Trump more than they love America,” Kremer wrote on X.

Trump’s rally and massive fireworks show in Washington, D.C., Saturday are at risk of delays or outright cancellations with temperatures as high as 102ºF and severe thunderstorms expected. One Washington Post report says D.C. will be hotter than 99 percent of the world

My mother was like this. It was always someone else's fault. We were blamed for everything

that went wrong. If we were there to take the blame, she was still the perfect person she

felt she had to be. These people are so broken inside they cannot accept what the rest of

us know to be true--no one is perfect. The rest of us fail, and are able to accept it and move on.

She was always quoting a scripture to me, “Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father

is perfect." Matthew 5:48. She had to be perfect at all times, in every situation. We had to be perfect,

too, we were her reflection--she raised us. If we weren't, then she had failed as a mother. It was more

than a little unhinged, and it's taken years to recover. My mother came from a Evangelical Christian

background. We had daily Bible study at home and attended 3 times a week at church. Do what we

say at all times, obey every dictate no matter how weird, don't listen to anyone else outside the church,

and above all--don't fail. This was an abusive interpretation of that scripture, but I'm sure that in many

Evangelical Christian churches the same scripture is still used to mentally beat everyone into falling in line.

You must do what the leaders tell you--no questions allowed. Perfect setup for the MAGA cults.

If you do what we say our country will be perfect. Your life will be perfect. Get rid of everyone not like you,

follow what we say, and don't trust anyone but us. We always know best.

When they finally wake up and realize they've been had by leaders stealing from them and taking away

their rights as the leaders grab more and more power, there's going to be a lot of anger and rage.

Maybe we need to hire therapists to help the Democratic politicians learn to deescalate some of that rage so they're less likely to be attacked by MAGAs.

I was floored at the reaction of the crowd at the National Mall when they had to delay things

because of the weather. Thought someone was going to get hurt! Now this BS blaming Democrats

saying we control the weather--how much stranger can this reality get?
