Republicans worry JD Vance may become Trump's 'fall guy' for Iran

(MS NOW) Vice President JD Vance has roughly seven weeks to pass one of the defining tests of his political career.

With President Donald Trump making him the public face of negotiations over a long-term Iran agreement, the outcome could strengthen Vance’s credentials ahead of a likely presidential campaign — or it could saddle him with the blame of a bad deal.

Republicans on Capitol Hill see plenty of political risk in the assignment, both because they doubt anyone could negotiate a strong pact with Iran — and because they suspect Trump would look for someone to hold responsible if the effort fails.

“There’s a chance he can become the fall guy, a chance he could become the hero,” Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-N.J., told MS NOW...The Iran negotiations are “one of half a dozen albatrosses he’s going to be wearing from this administration,” Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., told MS NOW.

I haven't read the new book by Haberman and Swann, but from what I have heard, my bet is that Vance is the insider that fed the authors information.

In interviews, Haberman and Swann paint Vance as the voice of reason and integrity in the Administration. They also bristle at any speculation that Vance was their source.

I think Vance is positioning himself away from Trump and will publicly turn on Trump when he (or Thiel) thinks the time is ripe.

Here's the real Thrilla From Manila shaping up.

Trump relied on the "bitcoin mafia" a.k.a. Tech Broligarchy to win.
Rigged? Is water wet?

And Vance is tight with these guys.

Details of their plans:

Chances of Trump finishing his term? About nil.

THEY JUST WANT RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENT IN TRUMP.

Trump never forgets an insult, and J.D. has launched lots of them.

So, this is interesting. J.D. could take "credit" in maga circles, where is not loved, for all Trump has done, or at least try, and then wipe out his "new world odor" with their own "New world order"

Technocracy.
