I've still got some 8-inch floppy disks that have my final project for the Synclavier lab at college.

If it had been an intact Babbage machine I probably wouldn't have felt old. Babbage started building his machines 130+ years before I was born. That just makes the find "history".
But, the fact that I wax probably out of college when that tape was recorded, and it's a relic, makes me feel like a relic.

back in the US in my son's garage. I mounted a ton of those tapes back in the 70s.

id get ready tapes to be sent off to archives and re bring back in tapes that came back from archives . got cloobbered by one that fell off a rack and hit me on the head..

They're over 40 years old at this point, and are probably trashed, but I just can't toss them yet.
