...I enthusiastically recommend their shrimp & corn chowder. It comes in a 2 pack, from a company called Blount Clam Shack.
Lots of shrimp, lots of corn, and bits of red pepper in a light creamy base - scrumptious! With the cold weather we've been having in the greater Chicago area, this has quite hit the spot. We bought it for the first time last week, and have already gone back twice for more.

(2,359 posts)and they're as good as any steak you'd get in a restaurant. My uncle cooks them on the grill; I'm not sure what he puts on them (maybe olive oil and garlic salt?) but oh boy! Are they ever good!

(2,359 posts)Next time I go to Costco, I'll have to get it. Shrimp and corn - what's not to like? I eat soup year round, but it's a must in the cold winter months!

*** ON EDIT: Found them at the natural foods outlet - the chowder, and a gumbo. But got tempted away by a double crust chicken pot pie and a pot roast dinner. Now know where things are, so next time for the rest. Thanks for the tips!

(2,359 posts)I tried "chowder"; I tried "shrimp and corn chowder"; and I tried "Blount Clam Shack" - nothing.
Maybe it's a regional thing?
