(91,070 posts)Go easy on yourself, debm55. You have a terrific reason to slow down for a little while. Or, heck, a big while, if you feel like it.
I just hope things go well for you tomorrow AND long after that!

(12,791 posts)A friend just had one and it turned out to be a calcified scar, win, win. I have had several biopsies and I expected the worse. It was twice but others not.

(2,964 posts)when I had mine, some odd bits of useful advice:
1) stock up on easy-to-prepare foods and/or meal-replacement shakes beforehand, so you can just laze about if you're doped up on pain-killers.
I also made a habit of writing down whenever I took a painkiller, so I'd take a Tylenol for any breakthrough pain if it was too early for my next dose. (Fortunately, I think that only happened once, but I didn't have to stress about trying to remember if I could take another one yet.)
2) Also stock up on laxatives/stool softeners, since the anesthesia can slow things down for a few days.

(41,287 posts)Yes you might be sore for a couple days. They will give you some ice packs and that helps. Sending all my best hopes for a negative result. But, if you need further treatment, youll handle it. Were all be thinking about you you tomorrow.

(38,698 posts)May your biopsy come back that way, negative.
Over the years my wife had a number that did, including one surgical procedure.
It's always scary, but may you experience the relief we had many times.
