1. I encounter

extraordinary amounts of plastic packaging, much of it with little plastic rings designed to seal caps onto bottles. I wish we would pass a law requiring such rings to be perforated in such a way that they would break open more easily.

It only takes a moment and from now on, with a small manicure scissors, I will SNIP the ring before discarding !
