shortly after I returned from Vietnam. That and Alice's Restaurant validated my feelings about the war..

(15,193 posts)2. My Cousin Jim - I've posted other stories about him. Anyways, he was driving on the Mass. Turnpike and
turned off at Stockbridge to see if he could meet Officer Obie. He did and reported Officer O to be quite friendly and had a point and shoot photo of the two of them.
Hanging with Cousin Jim was like if you knew Hunter S. Thompson.

However, I love the Woodstock version way more, they ditched the circus sound and it was much better! Love the words, and the vibe on both!
