Candidate Slate Set For Annual Town Election

Early in-person voting for Mashpee's Annual Town Election will be held Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1. Town Clerk Jessica K. Colpitts informed the Select Board of the early voting timeframe at its meeting on Monday, March 23.

The Annual Town Election is slated for Saturday, May 9, just a few days after the May 4 Town Meeting.

Colpitts explained that the election was scheduled before Town Meeting in order to give the public a full week of early in-person voting. Early in-person voting will take place at Mashpee Town Hall, as well as via vote-by-mail.

Candidate papers were due back at the Town Clerk's office on Monday, March 23. On Tuesday, Colpitts shared with the Enterprise the list of candidates running for open seats in this year's annual election.
