GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A former meteorologist who served the West Michigan community for years announced her candidacy for Congress Thursday.

Terri DeBoer, who has been a broadcast meteorologist for various TV stations in the community for more than three decades, says she's running for Michigan's 3rd Congressional District.

Never liked her. I remember when she was on the Kalamazoo station, back in the early 90's. I wanted to hear the weather, and had to hear her talk about church and Sunday school. Then she moved to the Grand Rapids station, and all of a sudden her hair, makeup, and wardrobe looked much better, and she didn't talk about Sunday school anymore. And now she want to be a politician. The next Kari Lake? One was enough.
