ROSELAND, N.J., May 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- For the four weeks ending April 25, 2026, U.S. private employers added an average of 33,000 jobs per week, according to the NER Pulse, a weekly update of the monthly ADP National Employment Report (NER).
Job growth remains stable. These numbers are preliminary and could change as new data is added.

(13,071 posts)3. Thanks for the report. Note that 33,000 jobs/week monthesizes to about 143,400 jobs/month. Also these are private
sector jobs and do not include government jobs (something to keep in mind when comparing to the Bureau of Labor Statistic's first Friday (usually) report, where the headline jobs number includes government jobs.
(on the monthsizing math: a 365-day year has 12 months and 52.14 weeks)
