Hot soup for an appetizer, but a salad and seafood cold plate for dinner.
Wonton soup.
Tossed green salad with a crabcake and also shrimp salad. To go with it, I found this interesting bread called Simit. They have sesame seeds all over them. They're bigger than a bagel, but you can slice them into rounds and toast them.
Kombucha: Tangerine-pineapple.
Unfortunately, I already had my chocolate for the day, so no dessert.

(24,650 posts)We scored some lovely prosciutto this afternoon. Were going to make fettuccine with Alfredo sauce kicked up a notch with the ham and peas mixed in. Green salad with tomatoes and red onion ringlets. Freshly made iced tea.
Dessert is a little weird but we bought a pineapple from the fruit & vegetable stand down the road for $0.75! Itll be sliced and highlighted with a splash of rum.

(1,732 posts)My wife went out for dinner with friends so I made myself a big salad with romaine, leaf lettuce, savoy cabbage, sliced red onion, radish, cherry tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, black olives and pickled beets. Used TJs creamy dill dressing and topped the salad with a can of drained sardines. Also had a slice of toasted multigrain bread with hummus. Cheers!🥂
