I decided to officially bring Tegan (soon to be known as Ember) inside, now

I didn't see her at breakfast so I've been in a mild state of worry. Then she shows up, all by herself. So, she's inside the porch, in the playpen, tucking in to a bowl of pate. She will get a flea treatment and then probably spend the next few days between the porch (depending on the weather, or in a playpen in the guest room.

Madoc and Sian are out on the porch, checking her out. I'll keep an eye on things.

BTW, the new mom is also Cinder and Smoke's mom!! Thus, the name 'Ember'.

2. I'm watching for one of her sisters to show up

They can join her for company. And if the indoor kidcats seem settled, I'll just bring the playpen to the den or 3 season room, which is separated from the den by a sliding glass door.

I was so worried that something would happen to her, before Tuesday. This way I can make sure she's getting enough food and keep up on making sure her eyes are clean. She still gets a little discharge, but not that much.

Do exactly the same. And her siblings could see what happened to her if they get to watch her leave with her new human(s), might be less stressful for them. They might even tell the others, somehow, that they might all get to go to new homes or at least that it's still okay to trust you event though one of them is now missing.

They've been flea dusted and I put de-wormer in their pate. I'll go check on them after I eat. I kind of forgot to do that, today.
