I had tears streaming down my face and leapt to the floor clapping when she finished. My whole family was cheering!

The thing is, Liu's recent performances, costumes etc were not that great.
Good but not stellar.

9. From what I saw she was out there for the pure delight of skating...Not worried about getting a medal...

You could just see the joy coming out of her...That smile was infectious..
I also loved the closing with the US woman's hockey team winning gold in overtime... The vid of the singing of the Star Spangled banner had tears coming down my face....uff
