They also created Miss Piggy and Statler and Waldorf.
Jim Henson of course, created Youppi, the Mascot of the Montreal Expos, famous for being the only mascot to be tossed from the game by the umps.

He was a crazy kid, but more importantly, his mother was deaf so he learned to effectively communicate by gesticulating with his hands.
