We have a Supreme Court order that is pretty clear about the requirement for Due Process, So Trump just ships the defendants to Texas, where they are certain to get a judge that will ignore the Supreme Court ruling.

And we must proceed with the knowledge that this is exactly what Robert wanted to happen. He can say "This matter is not before the Supreme Court. Don't blame me. Go ask that judge in Texas." It is transparently a game of legal whack-a-mole.

If Roberts wanted to follow the Constitution, the Supreme Court could have issued the restraining order themselves. It would have taken 30 seconds while the matter was already before them.

As usual, 90% of what we see in DC is kabuki theater.
