On the campaign trail, TSF loved to brag about his father's brother, John G. Trump, with an MIT doctorate and career in electrical engineering. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_G._Trump And he'd claim that he had "superior genes" by the happenstance of genetics and genealogy.

Well, John G. Trump was a scientist, obviously valuable to Society with his research and work.

And here's his nephew and his crew recklessly and needlessly chopping budgets of prestigious public and private institutions that do critical scientific research at all levels, all disciplines. Crippling medicine, environmental, energy research. Not only will other countries benefit from our loss, but our country will also regress and badly at that.
