Rep. Jamie Raskin: Trump's first 100 days were 'a horror show,' but Americans are standing up - Ayman - MSNBC

Donald Trump is barreling toward 100 days in office, and the American people are giving him a reality check on his record. Polls ahead of that milestone are showing that more than half of U.S. adults aren't happy with his job performance as president or how he's approaching top MAGA policy areas like the economy and immigration.

MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin speaks with Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland about Trump's first months in office, what's ahead, and his efforts to push for accountability under Trump. "The country is in an uproar about this full-blown assault, both on democracy and the major achievements of democracy, like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid." - Aired on 04/27/2025.

But, when Rep. Raskin talks about the Constitution will help/hold. Well he's partly right. If you believe and follow the Constitution as a rule of law then it is a great light that you follow to correct the wrongs in this country. The only problem is that trump and the republican party are wiping there a$$es with the constitution. The republican party has given up it's power to trump and the courts are hit and miss when it comes to the rule of law. After all think of all the "supreme court" judges who went before Congress and told them the were strict "stari de sisces" believers. Well now they follow it if it aids the republican party and ignore it if it's a case against the republican party. These examples are but a few of many that the republican party doesn't give a damn about the Constitution of America. What's even worse if we do find a way to keep our Democracy no one will be punished only because it is the filthy rich who are responsible for the Fascistic overthrow attempt.
