2. I have to agree, but that's the way it was written and there wasn't room

And I'm a big fan of Senator Whitehouse, he's unrelenting fighting against climate change as well as Supreme Court corruption. Last year I went to my Dad's cousin's 90th birthday celebration and I ended up sitting next to her niece who told me she just got in the night before from Rhode Island. And before I could help myself, I brought up Senator Whitehouse! And she just turned away and started talking to someone else. I guess she's not "one of us." *sigh*
