The Way Forward
Related: About this forumThe party has lost working people to a racist cult. LET'S WIN THEM BACK.

We can regain workers with a progressive platform.
You know what happens to that when the fatcats call on the DNC to ( and I read these words today) "tone it down"
The party kills off its best strategies. I voted for Bernie in a primary because I believed that his worker's focus would be the best way to defeat Trump. I am glad I was wrong. That time. But I see future centrist campaigns failing to connect with workers.
People want "revolutionary" ideas. They thought that FartMan was revolutionary. He talked that way but only brought the bloodshed of revolution and welfare for the wealthy. Himself first.
SO BE REVOLUTIONARY!!
A grassroots revolution is needed for the party to win.

Indivisible has done infinitely more for our cause than the slumbering, oligarch-owned party "leaders".

Busy discussing "options" until the opposition has taken ownership of all the talking points.
Leaders are starting to lead because we the people kicked ass.
Good for Jon Ossoff for taking the lead, and those who spoke up when nobody else would.

And, no - I continue to be skeptical that I want to 'pick up' these people - or their 'revolution' or agenda. While remaining pretty sure they really don't deserve a place within my party - or my vote. While similarly harboring quite the same sentiments about 'picking up' racist, anti-immigrant, anti-abortion/anti-gay 'union guy'. And - if this is the kind of rhetoric (and character) that I am being asked to support ... (as in 'tone down') Then, no - and probably no again.
I think I'll be sticking with the old "standby' Democratic values. Really not into racists, or fascists. or bigots - regardless the banner they march around under.
