..he is the only Democrat that I could see having a shot at the Presidential nomination that I would really have to hold my nose to vote for. Even on issues that he's "good" on, it just all appears so craven. Like for every positive move he makes on gay rights or another social issue he'll do something reprehensible economically as though using the former as some kind of shield from criticism.

Booker has a similar dynamic but he seems far less obvious and calculating about it. Like I genuinely believe that Booker things his pro-Wall Street leanings are the right way to go, and I believe that his social liberalism is sincere. Maybe that's naive of me, or maybe that just makes him a better politician. Either way it's much less offensive to me as what Cuomo tries to pull off.
