They gave me Demerol before going into pre-op. I felt a strange feeling starting in my toes. When it got to my chest, I was breathing normally but not getting enough oxygen. I shouted for help and a nurse came in. I told what was going on and the next thing I knew was there was a doctor and at least 4 nurses. My heart stopped and I went out. A few minutes later I woke up. There were no bright lights, my mother wasn't waiting for me and there weren't any angels. Just nothing.
